Buying vehicle out of state? (California/Denver)?

If you end up paying tax in Denver, you can take a credit against the tax you owe in CA. Just show the receipt with the tax on it when you register the car. If Denver tax is more than the CA tax, you can't get a refund on the difference. If CA tax is more, you only owe the difference.
