My Printer Ink is not drying?

I have a regular wet ink printer. I can print on paper and its dry when I comes out. No smudging or anything like that. But I got some adhesive paper for labels and the like and every time I print on it, the ink just don’t dry. Will a hairdryer or something help solidify it? Am I just not doing something right? Please, feel free to call me names and comment on how dumb I am. I know absolutely nothing about computers so ill probably agree with you.
