Buddhism and Cooking, would especially like feedback from buddhists and vegetarians?

I am currently enrolled in a Culinary Arts program, and as an admittedly fledgling buddhist/vegetarian, am concerned that this is the right kind of livelihood for me, as i will be preparing meat for others....Any thoughts?
