Will my charicterization of service and reenlistment code be changed after the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell?

I served in the military for six years and was discharged because someone told my command I was gay. I was admistratively separated with a General Discharge under honorable conditions, and a RE 4 reenlistment code blocking me from re entering the military. Will I be able to appeal to have my discharge status changed after the appeal of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy?!?
