Do blacks find it offensive when whites listen to unedited rap?
I've recently taken a liking to Curtis Jackson, as his rap is more than just sick beats and profanity. I respect the fact that his cd put out a message about his life. This being so, I'm curious as to what blacks think when a white person listend to unedited rap ( more specifically when the n word occurs). I'm not trying to be something I'm not, but I believe censorship ruins the artist's original intention of the music. I do not know, however, if blacks view this as offensive and, as I live near and attend school in Marietta, Ga, I don't want to give the wrong impression. I merely love music. I appreciate any and all thoughts and comments on this issue. Obviously, comments from blacks would be preferabls so I have their opinion. Post what you think, no matter which side of the question it is.
